Safeguarding and Child protection
Safeguarding our children is very important and we take concerns seriously. Schools and colleges and their staff are an important part of the wider safeguarding system for children.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. In order to fulfill this responsibility effectively, all staff at St George's make sure their approach is child-centred. This means that they should consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.
If you have any concerns please contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs Carolyn Divers, at school.
If, as a member of the public, you have concern's about a child's welfare, you can phone the Public Service Hub directly on 0161 342 4101.
