Mencap Family Intervention Project

https://www.mencap.org.uk/community-led-support-families

The Mencap family engagement project is a free project working within Tameside to support families of children with special educational needs and disabilities, or emerging needs, aged 0-5. We can offer support at all stages of their journey and no diagnosis is required. We are co-produced with families and offer a range of support including 1:1 support with a family connector, peer support groups and signposting to services. After half term, we are due to start information sessions on Disability Living Allowance and Educational Health Care Plans, plus well-being sessions.
